Students who begin their academic career at a school other than KU are considered transfer students. Due to the variable nature of bringing in credit from another institution, The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences recommends transfer students, once official transcripts have been evaluated, meet with an academic advisor to discuss their particular situation.
